Licensing Data

You can freely browse and query the database, and you are welcome to print or download, use, adapt and share your query results as set out by the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC-BY 4.0) license. In particular, this means that you must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. For giving 'appropriate credit', we suggest you cite material from our page as follows:

Benedetta Albani (ed.), SCC Positiones Explorer Data (persistent identifier or indication of method of retrieval), version, downloaded on + current date.

The different databases as a whole or in substantial parts, however, are protected by sui generis database rights. These rights prevent - unless explicitly permitted - copying and reusing of substantial parts of a database (including frequent extraction of insubstantial parts). If you are interested in creating and republishing one of the databases as a whole, in substantial parts, or a derivative work thereof, we explicitly encourage you to get in touch with the project lead, Dr. Benedetta Albani (albani@lhlt.mpg.de) in order to make an individual agreement.
