User Guide

This application offers an interactive catalogue with a variety of search options and graphic visualisation of the catalogue. A user guide has been prepared to illustrate the functions of this app. By placing the cursor over an image, an animated demonstration can be accessed.

Keywords

A total of 190 keywords are divided into four main categories. By default, all of them are selected. A bottom 'Select all' allows to select or deselect all of them.

Upon clicking the checkbox, the user will receive a list of all entities that contain the specified keyword. The results may be exported in .bib format and added to the user's library.

Build Graphs

The graphic app remains the same structure as the Search Data. It presents a panel with filters, comprising a controller for defining the type of graph and a keyword selection tool. The graph controller is employed for selecting a type of visualisation. The available rendering options include bubbles, bars and pie charts.

The principal component of the application is a timeslider, which enables the user to specify a period of interest and to set the X and Y axes. The type of entity determines the variables that will be displayed on the X and Y axes. It should be noted that not all graphs employ three axes.

Graph Desk

The desk of the main part is interactive — dots and bars can be selected by mouse. Dots or bars of the selected area will be rendered in the datatable below.

This datatable and graph can be downloaded in several formats: .csv, .xls or .bib. Note that the datatable is available only for bubbles and bars. Pie has only a graphic presentation.
